About Robert

​Hi, my name is Robert, and I took my first tentative steps into a language classroom as an instructor in 1988, in Taiwan.  I have been teaching ESL/EFL ever since.  I have taught English in Canada (my home country), Taiwan, South Korea, and
in the United Arab Emirates.  Along the way, I studied (and became fluent in) Mandarin Chinese and traveled to ​the U.K. - where I studied ESL materials design and graduated with a Master's Degree in TESOL Education from the University of Leeds (School of Education).  My son Thomas and I welcome you to 'Listen Again English'!
